In scene 1, you can see adrian and john playing a video game. John hears something in the hallway which adrian doesn’t acknowledge. John asks adrian and adrian quickly disregards it. then BAM, it’s an immense noise that they both clearly hear. Filled with curiosity and wonder, John tells adrian not to check it out but Adrian decides to go check it out anyway, and whatever it is that was making the noise attacks adrian and kills him. John doesn’t show any emotion or surprise on his face and says, “welp, i told him.” This is the kind of light hearted comedy we will be aiming for, very similar to Scary movie. we hope to emulate scary movie 1 and 2, and a little bit of 3, the rest aren’t so entertaining to us. Most people would expect John to run away or have a crazy reaction, instead he just walks away.
